Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Assembly:







REMOVAL

1. Turn ignition Off.
2. Remove attachment bolts and MAP sensor. Remove port seal if retained in intake manifold.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from MAP sensor.


INSTALLATION

1. Install port seal in manifold.

NOTE: Port seal must be installed halfway into manifold then install map sensor to prevent seal damage.

2. Connect electrical connector to the MAP sensor. Push in connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
3. Install MAP sensor and attachment bolts.
- Torque: 5 NM (44 in. lbs)
