Description:

ADJUSTMENT - VISUAL METHOD
1. Remove air intake tube at throttle body.
2. Observe position of throttle plate.
3. Depress release tab on adjuster and slide adjuster away from the bracket. Move adjuster toward bracket to gain 1-2 mm (0.040-0.079 in.) clearance between the adjuster and the accelerator pedal bracket. If using the PDT (Scan tool) verify closed throttle position (TP) voltage prior to adjustment. Ensure after adjustment that the throttle position voltage is unchanged.

IMPORTANT:
^ 1-2 mm (0.040-0.079 in.) is approximately one click movement of the adjuster.
^ Driveability problems may be encountered if the cruise control rod is not properly adjusted.

4. Install air intake tube.
