The following data definitions are intended to assist in understanding the data displayed by a Scan tool when it is communicating with the Powertrain Control Module. A thorough understanding of this data will not only aid in diagnosing transaxle related problems, but will also help eliminate unnecessary repairs.
The scan tool displays data in several different "tables". Data from a single component is some times displayed in multiple tables. Here is an index for the available tables followed by the actual scan tool data definitions:
