Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement

Removal Procedure






1. Open the hood.

Important: Remove any debris in the filter area.

2. Gently remove the hood-to-cowl seal by peeling it up from one end.


3. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to open the filter access door in the cowl screen.






4. Rotate the locking tabs outward to release the filter assembly.
5. Remove the filter by pulling straight out.


Installation Procedure

Important: Install the filter noting the airflow direction indicator.






1. Install a new filter.
2. Rotate the locking tabs inward to secure the air filter in place.






3. Install the hood-to-cowl seal.
4. Close the cowl screen access door and snap the door closed.
