Underhood Lamp: Service and Repair




REMOVAL
1. Remove door jamb/ajar switch to the pillar fastener.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from door jamb/ajar switch.
3. Remove door jamb/ajar switch from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect electrical connector to door jamb/ajar switch.
2. Install doorjamb/ajar switch by positioning it on the pillar.

NOTE: When attaching fastener, be careful not to strip the threads in sheet metal.

3. Install door jamb/ajar switch to pillar with fastener.

Torque: 2.0 N.m (18 in-lbs)
