Upper Radiator Hose

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Drain coolant. (Refer to "Draining Coolant".)
3. Remove upper radiator hose to radiator clamp and remove hose from radiator fitting.





4. Remove upper radiator hose to head clamp and remove hose from head.

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT: Engine end of hose is labeled to prevent reverse installation. White line on hose should be installed at 12 o'clock position.

1. Install upper radiator hose to head fitting.
2. Install upper radiator hose to head clamp and position clamp at 3 o'clock position.





3. Install upper radiator hose to radiator fitting.
4. Install upper radiator hose to radiator clamp and position clamp at 12 o'clock position.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
^ Torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
6. Fill coolant. (Refer to "Coolant Replacement".)
