Service Manual Update For 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service Manual Regarding Front and Rear Suspension Torque Specifications

MODELS AFFECTED:
2000 - 2001 Saturn L-Series vehicles

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this bulletin is to update all 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service Manuals at your location.

Please obtain all the 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service Manuals at your location and make the necessary updates as indicated below.

^ On page 16 and 193, locate "Front Strut-to-Knuckle (final torque)" torque specification.

1. Cross out 90 N.m and 66 ft-lbs.

2. Write in 100 N.m and 73 ft-lbs.

^ On page 17 and 244, locate "Rear Axle Control Arm Bracket-to-Body Bolts" torque specification and write in 30° - 45° after each torque specification.

^ On page 17 and 245, locate "Rear Hub-to-Knuckle" torque specification and write in 30° - 45°) after each torque specification.
