Park Lock Solenoid

REMOVAL




1. Remove upper steering column trim cover and lower steering column cover fasteners.




2. Remove ignition switch bezel and remove lower cover.




3. Remove the park lock solenoid electrical connector.
4. Remove park lock solenoid screws and remove park lock solenoid from vehicle.

INSTALLATION




1. Position park lock solenoid onto column and install screws.

Torque: 1.1 - 1.9 N.m (10 - 16 in-lbs)

2. Connect the park lock solenoid electrical connector.




3. Install the lower steering column trim cover and ignition switch bezel.




4. Install lower steering column trim cover fasteners.

Torque: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)

5. Install upper steering column trim cover.
