Shift Cable: Adjustments





1. Move control assembly into P (Park) position.
2. Disconnect control cable from transaxle range switch lever.
3. Make sure the transaxle range switch lever is in park position by moving lever counterclockwise (away from dash panel) until it clicks and cannot be moved any further.





4. Release control cable assembly adjustment lock tab at control cable bracket on rear powertrain mount. Use a screwdriver, awl, or pick to pry up lock tab and lift.
5. Reconnect control cable end to transaxle range switch lever.
6. Depress lock tab on control cable assembly.
7. Verify proper operation.
