Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat.
2. Remove the front seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover/Pad.




3. Remove the lumbar adjuster cable fasteners from the seat frame.




4. Unhook the lumbar assembly from the retainers and remove the lumbar assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Hook the lumbar mechanism into the retainers.




2. Route the lumbar adjuster cable and the adjuster to the seat side frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the lumbar adjuster with the fasteners.

Tighten the lumbar adjuster fasteners to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the front seat cover assembly. Refer to Front Seat Pad/Cover.




5. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat.
