Front Seat Replacement - Bucket

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat shoulder belt outer cover.
2. Remove the shoulder belt from the seat frame.
3. Pull the seat assembly slightly rearward to disengage the seat from the front set track hooks.
4. Tilt the seat rearward and disconnect the seat wiring harnesses.
5. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place on a clean protected work surface.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the seat into the vehicle.
2. Slide the seat into the forward tracks.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Apply Loctite(R) 242 Threadlocker, or an equivalent, to the seat fasteners and install the seat fasteners.

Tighten the seat fasteners to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).





4. Install the shoulder belt to the seat frame.

Tighten the shoulder belt-to-seat frame bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

5. Install the shoulder belt outer cover.
6. If equipped, function the electrical seat components to ensure proper operation.
