Compressor No-Pump

Compressor No-Pump:

IMPORTANT: Make sure manifold gauge set valves are closed.

KEY: NO CHANGE IN SUCTION AND DISCHARGE PRESSURES WITH COMPRESSOR ENGAGED. GAUGE PRESSURES WILL BE ALMOST EQUAL.

THEN: Most likely the vanes are not extending to the cylinder walls.
^ Run engine at 2000 RPM and cycle compressor on and off two or three times.
^ If pressure remains static, engage compressor and snap engine throttle two or three times.
^ If pressure still remains static replace compressor.
^ After repair return to diagnostic flow chart.
