Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair




REMOVAL
1. Ignition Off.
2. Disconnect IAT sensor harness connector.

NOTE: The connector must be removed by squeezing the sides. Apply pressure to sides of connector gently with pliers. Do not pull on wires.

3. Remove IAT sensor using a deep-well socket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install IAT sensor.

Torque: 5 N.m (44 in-lbs)

2. Connect IAT sensor harness connector. Push in connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
