DISASSEMBLY





1. Drive roll pin out of differential housing and discard.
2. Remove pinion shaft.
3. Rotate pinion gears out of housing and remove.
4. Remove side gears.
5. Remove liner from housing.





6. Remove differential side bearings.
a. To remove the speed sensor side bearing, a bearing puller can be used.
b. To remove the differential gear side bearing, use a two jaw puller. Place a shield over bearing to provide protection if bearing should break.
