4. Exhaust Manifold Removal

EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL
(UNIT REPAIR)

REMOVAL





1. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield.





2. Remove exhaust manifold to cylinder head retaining nuts. ;
3. Remove exhaust manifold.
4. Clean all of the sealing surfaces.
5. If exhaust manifold is being replaced, transfer the following parts:
- Exhaust manifold heat shield
- Oxygen sensor
- Replace exhaust manifold nuts
