Front Transaxle Mount (Automatic)

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FRONT TRANSAXLE MOUNT (AUTOMATIC)

REMOVAL





1. Remove engine cooling fan attachment bolts.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON THE HOIST. TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON A HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE VEHICLE ON THE OPPOSITE END FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED.

2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
3. Position engine cooling fan to allow access to the transaxle mount bolts.





4. Remove front transaxle mount through bolt.





5. Remove transaxle mount to transaxle attachment bolts.
6. Remove transaxle mount from vehicle.

INSTALLATION





1. Install transaxle mount onto vehicle and tighten bolts.
Torque: Front Transaxle Mount-to-Transaxle Bolts: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)





2. Install transaxle mount through bolt and tighten.
Torque: Front Transaxle Mount Through Bolt: 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
3. Reposition cooling fan for installation.
4. Lower vehicle from hoist.





5. Install engine cooling fan attachment bolts.
Torque: Cooling Fan-to-Radiator Bolts: 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.)
