Removal Procedure
1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the 9 applique attaching nuts from the underside of the rear compartment lid.
3. Disconnect the license plate sockets from the applique.
4. Remove the applique by raising the reflex upward from the compartment lid.
Installation Procedure
1. Position to the rear compartment lid. Visually inspect that the applique is properly positioned to the decklid.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the 9 applique attaching nuts.
Tighten the rear compartment lid applique fasteners to 5 Nm (43 lb in).
3. Close the rear compartment lid.
