Door Lock Cylinder - All

REMOVAL




1. Remove door outer panel.
2. Partially remove door insulator at rear.

NOTE: The rod retaining clips used in the door lock levers and mechanisms are not re-usable. Retention characteristics are minimized once a rod is extracted. Clips must be replaced every time a rod is extracted.

3. Disconnect lock rod from latch.
4. Remove retainer and door lock cylinder.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Incorrect orientation of the retainer will result in improper fit of outer door panel.




1. Install door lock cylinder with retainer. Install retainer from top as shown for Sedan and Wagon, and from bottom for Coupe.
2. Connect lock rod to latch.
3. Install door insulator.
4. Install door outer panel.
