Information on Servicing Saturn L-Series Lock Cylinder Components

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Saturn Retailers of a change to service parts availability for Saturn L-Series lock cylinder components. The current lock cylinder kits for the doors, ignition cylinder, and rear compartment lid or liftgate cylinder will be modified to now include additional component parts to build up a complete ignition, door and rear compartment lid or liftgate lock cylinder assemblies. Additionally, once inventory of the lock cylinder individual component parts (tumblers, springs, levers, shutter, cap, etc.) are depleted, these component parts will only be available as part of the new lock cylinder kits.
The new lock cylinder kits can be used to replace or repair lock cylinder assemblies on 2000-2005 Saturn L-Series vehicles.
