Outer Valance Panel

REMOVAL




1. Remove front seat.




2. On manual recliners, remove recliner lever clip and remove lever.




3. On manual height adjuster, remove height adjuster handle.




4. Remove fasteners and remove outer valance.




5. On drivers side power height adjuster vehicles, partially remove valance.
6. Disconnect power seat switch from harness.
7. Remove valance.

INSTALLATION




1. Position valance to seat adjuster, then slide valance rearward to lock valance into seat adjuster tongue.




2. Install valance to adjuster with fasteners.

Torque:
Outer Seat Valance Fasteners: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)




3. On power seat vehicles connect power seat switch wiring harness to switch, then snap switch into valance.




4. If equipped, install height adjuster handle.

Torque:
Manual Seat Height Adjuster Handle Fastener: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)




5. Install recliner handle.




6. Install front seat.
