Shift Boot: Service and Repair
CONTROL LEVER BOOT REMOVAL 1.
Pull up on control lever boot to disengage from console.
2.
Cut plastic tie strap that secures boot to shift lever.
3.
Remove control lever boot.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install boot assembly to lever so the plastic tie strap is in groove on lever.
2.
Pull tie strap tight with pliers.
3.
Pull control lever boot down and snap boot into console opening.
