Front Side Door Window Adjustment

Adjustment Procedure




1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
3. Loosen the rear most window regulator bolt.
4. Lower the window to the 3/4 down position.
5. Push the window rearward to seat in the rear window run channel.
Bring pressure against the rear channel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

6. Tighten the rear most window regulator bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

7. Inspect the window for proper operation. If binding exists, inspect all of the weatherstrips and adjust as necessary.
8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
9. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
