Glove Compartment Door Cover

REMOVAL




1. Open glove compartment door.
2. Remove lower glove compartment door fasteners and remove glove compartment door.




3. Remove glove compartment door outer fasteners and disassemble inner to outer panel.




4. Disconnect latch to handle connector rod and remove latch assembly.

INSTALLATION




1. If glove compartment door cover is being replaced, remove spring clip and transfer handle assembly to new cover.




2. Install glove compartment latch with latch fasteners.

Torque:
love Compartment Latch Fasteners: 2 N.m (18 in-lbs)

3. Snap in latch to handle connector rod.




4. Position glove compartment door inner cover to outer cover and secure with fasteners.
5. Torque fasteners.

Torque:
Glove Compartment Door Outer Cover Fasteners: 2 N.m (18 in-lbs)




6. Position glove compartment door to vehicle.
7. Using an awl to aid in the spring loaded hinge, position hinge to lower attachment with awl in the center fastener hole.
8. Install outer fasteners.
9. Install center fastener.

Torque:
Glove Compartment Door Fasteners: 2 N.m (18 in-lbs)

10. Operate glove compartment door to check for fit and function.
11. Adjust if necessary then tighten fasteners.
