Driver's Window

Driver's power window switch is located in the power window master switch assembly. When power window switch, for driver's window is put in up position, the driver's window motor operates to raise the window until either power window switch is released or circuit breaker located within motor assembly disables the motor.

Driver's window has a two-position down power window switch, with second position used to provide an EXPRESS DOWN feature. When driver's power window switch is placed in first down position (before passing detent) the window operates in the same manner as front passenger's window. When driver's power window switch is momentarily pressed to second down position (past detent), it latches in that position and the corresponding motor operates to lower window to full-down position regardless of whether operator continues to apply force to power window switch. The motor deactivates when either power window switch is momentarily moved toward up position or by the express down function. The express down latch position releases within 5 seconds by a built in timer.
