Vacuum Harness Assembly-2

REMOVAL




1. Remove air intake tube and air box cover.
2. Remove accelerator control cable bracket attaching bolts.




3. Disconnect vacuum harness from EVAP canister purge solenoid.

IMPORTANT: Inspect the vacuum harness connectors for deterioration. Replace the vacuum harness if damaged.

4. Remove vacuum harness from throttle body by unclipping the two tangs and lifting it upward.

INSTALLATION




1. Install the throttle body vacuum harness connector.
2. Connect vacuum harness to EVAP canister purge solenoid.

IMPORTANT: See diagram to insure proper routing and connection of vacuum lines.

3. Install accelerator control cable bracket attaching screws.

Torque:
Accelerator Control Cable Bracket-to-Intake Manifold (LL0): 13 N.m (9.5 ft-lbs)


4. Install air intake tube and air box cover.
5. Start engine and check for vacuum leaks.
