Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door upper trim panel extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement).




2. Disconnect the mirror electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Remove the mirror to door nuts.
4. Remove the mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the mirror to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror, if equipped.
4. Inspect the operation of the mirror.
5. Install the front door upper trim panel extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement).
