C0900 - DEVICE #1 VOLTAGE HIGH









The electronic power steering (EPS) control module monitors battery voltage on circuit 804O, connector J1, cavity 7.

DTC PARAMETERS
DTC CO900 will be current:
^ The battery voltage is greater than 17.5 volts.
When DTC CO900 is current:
^ Service Wrench telltale will not be On.
^ No steering assist will be provided.
^ The EPS control module will shut down to protect itself

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
^ The DTC will become history when battery voltage is below 16 volts during the same ignition cycle.
^ DTC CO900 may set if vehicle was jump-started.
^ Use Scan tool to display battery voltage. Refer to charge circuit diagnosis.
