Bracket Assembly Replacement - Onstar Module

BRACKET ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - ONSTAR MODULE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear shelf trim.
2. Remove the CIM from the bracket by pulling back on the bracket tabs.
3. Remove the OnStar(R) bracket screw.
4. Remove the OnStar(R) bracket from the rear shelf.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the OnStar(R) bracket to the rear shelf.
2. Install the OnStar(R) bracket screw.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (23 lb in).

3. Install the CIM in the bracket.
4. Install the rear shelf trim.
