The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Saturn retailers of changes to the wheel alignment specifications for the 2003-2005 Saturn ION.

Please obtain all copies of the printed 2003, 2004, and 2005 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol.1 at your retail facility. Print out new copies of SI Document ID # 879951 from SI.

^ In the printed 2003 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol.1, cross out the existing "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table on page 3-17 and insert a new copy of the "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table from SI Document ID # 879951.

^ In the printed 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol.1, cross out the existing "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table on page 3-16 and insert a new copy of the "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table from SI Document ID # 879951.

^ In the printed 2005 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol.1, cross out the existing "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table on page 3-15 and insert a new copy of the "Wheel Alignment Specifications" table from SI Document ID # 879951.

Important:
The service equipment used to measure wheel alignment may or may not contain the correct alignment specifications for Saturn ION vehicles. Use only the settings in the Wheel Alignment Specifications table (SI Document ID # 879951) when checking and adjusting wheel alignment angles on Saturn ION vehicles.

The SI website has been updated with the latest information.
