Purpose:
The purpose of this bulletin is to update the connector face description of the body control module (BCM) connectors C3 and C4 in the printed 2003 and 2004 Saturn ION Service Manuals. The cavity numbering shown in the illustration is incorrect. However, the numbering and description in the table are correct.
The eSI website has been updated and future Service Stall System SI CD releases will include this and other Service Manual updates. To view the correct connector face information on eSI, refer to SI Document ID # 883120 (for 2003 model year vehicles) or # 1257552 (for 2004 model year vehicles).
Illustrations shown are the correct illustrations (containing the correct cavity numbers) for the C3 and C4 connector of the BCM. Please make copies of these illustrations and place the correct illustrations over the existing illustrations in the 2003 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3 (pages 8-108 through 8-110 and 8-418 through 8-421) and the 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3 (pages 8-18 through 8-21 and 8-1059 through 8-1061).
