- J 28585 Snap Ring Remover





1. Remove the low clutch sprag inner race (520) from the front internal gear assembly (526).





2. Remove the following items from the front internal gear(526):
2.1. The low clutch sprag retaining ring (521)
2.2. The low clutch sprag end race (522)
2.3. The low clutch sprag assembly (523)
2.4. The low clutch sprag end race (522)
2.5. The front internal gear thrust washer (525)

Front Internal Gear Cleaning and Inspection





Clean and inspect the front internal gear.
