Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the regulator, if equipped.
3. Remove the window regulator attachment bolts.
4. Remove the front door regulator out through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door regulator through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement.
2. Install and snug the regulator bolts, except the rear-most.
3. Leave the rear-most regulator attachment bolt out to allow for the window installation.
4. Install the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the regulator bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm 89 in. lb.)

6. Connect the electrical connector to the front door regulator, if equipped.
7. Inspect the front door regulator for proper operation. If binding exists, inspect all of the weatherstrips and adjust as necessary.
8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair.
9. Install the front door inner panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair).
