Lumbar Replacement - Front Seat

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket).
2. Remove the front seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front).




3. Pull on the lumbar knob spacer to remove.




4. Remove the lumbar actuator cable screws from the seat frame.




5. Remove wire retainers from the lumbar assembly. Remove the lumbar assembly from the frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lumbar assembly to the frame. Snap the wire retainers into place.




2. Route the lumbar actuator cable and the actuator to the seat back frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the lumbar actuator with the fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




4. Install the lumbar knob spacer.
5. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front).




6. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket).
