Front Wiper Module

FRONT WIPER MODULE

REMOVAL




1. Open hood to access wiper arm fasteners.
2. Remove wiper arm fasteners.
3. Lift wiper arms assembly away from windshield and remove wiper arms from pivot shafts.




4. Remove right side air inlet grille fasteners and remove right side air inlet grille panel.
5. Remove left side air inlet grille fasteners and place left side air inlet panel underhood.




6. Remove wiper module fasteners and remove wiper module from cowl.
7. Disconnect wire harness rosebud clip from wiper module frame.
8. Disconnect wiper module electrical connector at the motor. Remove wiper module.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect wiper module electrical connector to the motor.
2. Connect wire harness rosebud clip to wiper module frame.
3. Install wiper module.

Torque:
Front Wiper Module Bolts: 12 N.m (9 ft-lbs)

4. Tum key to RUN position and cycle wiper system to ensure motor is in the park position.
5. Install left and right side air inlet grilles.




6. On driver's side position wiper blade assembly at tick mark in lower portion of windshield blackout strip.
7. On passenger's side, position wiper blade assembly at tick mark in A-pilTar portion of windshield blackout strip.
8. Install wiper arm nuts.

Torque:
Front Wiper Arm Retaining Nut: 15 N.m (11 ft-lbs) +180 degrees
