Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
FRONT WIPER MOTORREMOVAL
1. Remove front wiper module.
2. Remove the wiper motor-to-crank nut.
3. Remove the two wiper motor-to-wiper module frame bolts.
4. Remove wiper motor from wiper module.
INSTALLATION
1. Place wiper motor into position on the wiper module. Wiper motor should mount to the wiper module crank arm and the two holes in the motor housing should align to the wiper module frame.
2. InstaTi the two wiper motor-to-wiper module frame bolts.
Torque:
Wiper Motor-to-Wiper Module Frame
Bolt: 8 N.m (71 in-lbs)
3. Install the wiper motor-to-crank nut.
Torque:
Wiper Motor-to-Crank Nut: 14 N~m (10 ft-lbs)
4. Install front wiper module.
