Shifter Bezel

REMOVAL




1. Move shifter to a neutral position.
2. Pull up at rear edge of shifter bezel first disengaging retention clips, up shifter assy. Then down and back at front gain access to underside switch connections.




3. Disconnect the following:
^ Window switches
^ Mirror switch
^ Cigar lighter
4. Remove shifter bezel.

WINDOW SWITCHES REMOVAL
1. Remove screws and windows switch bezel/switch assembly.
2. Remove switch from bezel.

CIGAR LIGHTER REMOVAL
Push lighter assembly out top of shifter bezel by rocking up from shifter bezel.

MIRROR SWITCH REMOVAL
1. Using a protected flat bladed tool (from top side) pry switch from shifter bezel.
2. If removing mirror switch with shifter bezel installed disconnect harness connector from switch.

AUTO TRANS SLIP RING REMOVAL
Remove from shifter bezel.

AUTO TRANS SLIP INSTALLATION
Install Slip Ring to shifter bezel.

MIRROR SWITCH INSTALLATION
1. If installing mirror switches with shifter bezel installed, connect harness to switch.
2. Align mirror switch with shifter bezel and press into place.

WINDOW SWITCH INSTALLATION
1. Install window switch bezel to horseshoe bezel.
2. Install window switch by positioning to bezel and snapping into place.

INSTALLATION




1. Connect wire harness to window switches, mirror switch and cigar lighter
2. Move shifter to neutral position.




3. Install front edge of horseshoe bezel first over shift assembly making sure to engage alignment pins and front edge tabs with corresponding slots a bottom of radio bezel, clear wires and lower back edge snapping into place by pressing down.
4. Put shifter in Park position.
