Disabling the Curtain Inflators (If Equipped)

1. Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicle's wheels are pointing straight ahead.
2. Turn ignition switch to the OFF position and remove key.
3. Remove AIRBAG mini-fuse from instrument panel fuse block (IPFB).
4. Pop center push pins located in the upper headliner trim panel.

5. Remove right and left D-pillar upper trim panels.

6. Using a small flat bladed tool, partially remove right and left coat hooks center retainers, then pull on coat hooks to remove from headliner.
7. Gently pull back on the headliner to access the right and left curtain inflator module (YEL 2-way) connectors.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage headliner when disconnecting roof rail air bag connector.

8. Remove CPA from the right and left curtain inflator module (YEL 2-way) connectors.
9. Disconnect the right and left curtain inflator module connectors.
