18. Case Cover Assembly Assemble

CASE COVER ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLE





1. Apply transaxle fluid to new seal ring.
2. Install forward clutch accumulator piston and forward clutch accumulator piston spring into forward clutch accumulator cover.
3. Apply transaxle fluid to new O-ring.
4. Install accumulator cover assembly on case cover and tighten torx bolt.
Torque: Accumulator Cover Assembly to Case Cover Torx Bolt: 10 N.m (89 inch lbs.)





5. Install new seal rings and thrust bearing race onto case cover.





6. Apply transaxle fluid to new 4-5 clutch apply pipe seals.
7. Install pipe seals into 4-5 clutch apply pipe (609).





IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage pipe seals or the 4-5 clutch apply pipe during installation.

8. Using a plastic hammer, install 4-5 clutch apply pipe (609) to case cover.





9. Install 4-5 clutch apply pipe retainers.
10. Install 4-5 clutch apply pipe bolts.
Torque: 4 - 5 Clutch Apply Pipe Bolts: 6 N.m (52 inch lbs.)
