32. 2ND Clutch Piston Travel Measurement

2ND CLUTCH PISTON TRAVEL MEASUREMENT

^ TOOLS REQUIRED
- J 45166 8" Dial Indicator Extension Rod





1. Install 8" Dial Indicator Extension Rod J45166 into hole (1) indicated with arrow.





2. Assemble J45166 and Dial Indicator Set J45200(l) on to the fluid pump assembly and set the dial indicator J45200.

CAUTION: WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN USING COMPRESSED AIR IN ORDER TO PREVENT EYE INJURY.

3. Apply compressed air into (132) fluid passage and measure piston stroke. Be sure piston moves smoothly.
4. If piston stroke is out of specifications, select another backing plate.
