33. 2ND Coast Clutch Piston Travel Measurement
2ND COAST CLUTCH PISTON TRAVEL MEASUREMENT
CAUTION: WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN USING COMPRESSED AIR IN ORDER TO PREVENT EYE INJURY.
1. Apply compressed air into (13 1) fluid passage.
2. Measure piston stroke and be sure piston moves smoothly.
3. Remove dial indicator tools.
4. Where J45166 (2) was located install the last 14.5 mm bolt and tighten.
Torque: Torx Bolt: 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.)
5. Apply grease to thrust washer (226).
6. Install coast clutch hub thrust washer (226) with flat surface facing up.
