35. 2ND Coast, 2ND Clutch Hub and 2ND Clutch Sprag Assemble

2ND COAST, 2ND CLUTCH HUB AND 2ND CLUTCH SPRAG ASSEMBLE

1. Install 2nd clutch sprag end bearing (504).

IMPORTANT: Make sure the second clutch sprag assembly (503) is facing the correct direction.

2. Install second clutch sprag assembly (503).
3. Install second clutch sprag end bearing (502).

IMPORTANT: Apply grease to the coast clutch hub thrust washer (501) and align tab of washer with hollow of 2nd coast clutch hub.

4. Install coast clutch hub thrust washer (501) onto the 2nd coast clutch hub (500).

IMPORTANT: While turning the 2nd coast clutch hub, slide it into 2nd clutch outer race.

5. Install 2nd coast clutch hub (500) into the 2nd clutch outer race (505).

6. Hold 2nd clutch outer race, and inspect that the 2nd coast clutch hub turns freely clockwise (2) and locks counterclockwise (1).

7. Align tab of 2nd clutch sprag outer race thrust washer (506) with the hollow of the 2nd clutch sprag outer race (505).
