16. 3RD Gear Band Apply Tube Installation

3RD GEAR BAND APPLY TUBE INSTALLATION





1. Install 3rd gear band apply tube O-ring seals (53).
2. Install 3rd gear band apply tube (52).

IMPORTANT: Take care when using a mallet to install the tube or damage may occur.

3. If needed, lightly seat the tube into case with a soft mallet.





4. Install 3rd gear band apply tube retainer (5 1).
5. Install 3rd gear band apply tube bolts (50) and washers.
Torque: 3rd Gear Band Apply Tube Bolts: 6 N.m (53 inch lbs.)
