Garage Shifts

GARAGE SHIFTS
^ Apply the brake pedal and set the parking brake.
^ Observe TR Sw. with a Scan tool.
^ Slowly move the gear selector through the following ranges:

1. Park to Reverse
2. Reverse to Neutral
3. Neutral to Drive
^ Verify TR Sw. value matches the gear range selected, and the gear engagements are immediate and not too harsh.
If TR Sw. does not match the gear range selected, inspect the shift linkage and Park/Neutral Switch adjustment. If the gear engagements are delayed or too harsh, refer to the performance chart.
