Rear Mounting Bracket

REAR MOUNTING BRACKET

REMOVAL

CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON THE HOIST. TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON THE HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE VEHICLE OPPOSITE FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED.

1. Raise vehicle.

IMPORTANT: Discard used nut.





2. Remove bracket to bushing fasteners.

IMPORTANT: Discard used nuts.





3. Remove bracket to rear drive module fasteners.
4. Remove bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Position bracket to rear drive module, install bolts and new nuts, then tighten bolts.
Torque:
Bracket-to-Rear Drive Module Bolts: 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.)





2. Install bracket to rear mount bushing bolt and new nut, then tighten bolt.
Torque:
Bracket-to-Rear Mount Bushing Bolt: 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.)
3. Lower vehicle.
