Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel.






Important: Do not allow the ball stud to rotate when removing the ball stud nut.

3. Remove the stabilizer link to strut assembly ball stud nut.
4. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft ball stud nut.
5. Remove the stabilizer link from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
1. Remove the tire and wheel.






Important: Do not allow the ball stud to rotate when installing the ball stud nut.

2. Install the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft ball stud nut. Hand tighten only.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the stabilizer link to strut assembly ball stud nut.
Tighten both Ball stud nuts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the stabilizer link from the vehicle.
5. Lower the vehicle.
