Side Cover Axle Seal Installation

^ J41102 Axle Seal Installer






Important: You must use the J41102 in order to install the seal correctly. The J41102 installs the axle seal to a given depth.

1. Install a new side cover axle seal (2) into the side cover. Use the J41102.
2. In order to prevent damage to the shaft splines during vehicle operation, add Polyurea grease (part number 7843867) to the splines on the output shaft.
