Console Trim Panel Replacement - Right
Removal Procedure
1. Position the front seats rearward.
2. Reach under the front seats to access the lower console screws.
3. Remove the console screws.
4. Remove the cup holder liner.
5. Remove the cup holder screw.
6. Lift the rear of the center floor console.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector to the auxiliary power outlet.
8. Slide the center floor console rearward.
9. Remove the center trim panel by pulling outward.
10. Remove the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement) .
11. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Compartment - Replacement) .
12. Remove the screws from the right console trim panel.
13. Remove the push-in fastener from the trim panel.
14. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the right console trim panel.
2. Install the push-in fastener.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the screws to the right console trim panel.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Compartment - Replacement) .
5. Position the center trim plate to the front console.
6. Push until the trim clips engage.
7. Install the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement) .
8. Lift the rear of the center floor console.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the auxiliary power outlet.
10. Reposition the center console.
11. Install the cup holder screw.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
12. Install the cup holder liner.
13. Reach under the front seats to access the lower console screws.
14. Install the center console screws.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
15. Position the front seat forward to the original position.
