90. Throttle Body Assembly Installation

Throttle Body Installation

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important: The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has to perform the idle learn process when the throttle body is replaced.





1. Install the studs (516), if required.
^ Tighten the studs to 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).
2. Install the gasket (517) and throttle body (518).
3. Install the nuts (519) and bolts (555).
^ Tighten the nuts and bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
4. Install a NEW O-ring (713).
5. Install the MAP sensor (712) and bolt (711).
^ Tighten the bolt to 3.4 Nm (30 inch lbs.).
6. Install the throttle body coolant hoses.
