Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Installation





Install a NEW 12 mm x 2.4 mm fluid temperature O-ring seal (23) on the fluid temperature sensor (22).





1. Insert the fluid temperature sensor with harness assembly (22) into the correct transmission case housing (31) bore hole.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the fluid temperature sensor assembly (22) using a M6 x 1.0 x 18mm flanged bolt/screw (21), and tighten.
- Tighten the pressure switch to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
3. Install the connector on the temperature sensor connector bracket (52).
