Front Differential Ring Gears Installation





1. Install the front differential driven ring gear (905) with the flat-machined side facing the flat-machined surface of the front differential assembly (904) as shown in the insert.
2. Install the 12 M10 x 1.25 mm x 35 mm front differential gear mount bolt/screws (906) through the front differential driven ring gear (905), the front differential assembly (904), and for AWD only, into the front differential transfer case drive ring gear (903), and tighten finger tight.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Using a standard criss-cross pattern, tighten the 12 front differential gear mount bolts (906) to the specified torque.
- Tighten the front differential gear mount bolts to 101 Nm (74.5 ft. lbs.)
